ఎందుకో తెలియదు గానీ చిన్నప్పటినుండీ నేనే హీరోని పెద్దగా అరాధించలేదు. చిన్నప్పుడు కృష్ణ అంటే కొద్దో గొప్పో ఇష్టముండేది. అందుకు వివిధ కారణాలు. అందులో ఒకటి ఆయన ధైర్యం ప్లస్ రిస్క్ తీసుకునే ఆయన స్వభావం. తెలుగులో జేంస్బాండ్ , కౌబాయ్ సినిమాలు తీసే ఆలోచన ఆయనదే!తెలుగులో 70mm సినిమా , సింహాసనం లాంటి భారీ బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలు తీయగల ధైర్యం ఆయనకే వుందని నా అభిప్రాయం. ఆ విధంగా నేను కొద్దో గొప్పో కృష్ణ ఫ్యాన్ ని. ఆయన కొడుకు కాబట్టి కొంచెం మహేష్ లైటుని(మరీ వీరాభిమాని కాదు, కాకపోతే కొద్ది పాటి ఇష్టంఅని అర్థం).
వీళ్ళు తప్పితే నాకు పెద్దగా నచ్చిన హీరోలు లేనట్టే!(దానివల్ల సినీ ప్రపంచానికి జరిగే నష్టమేమీ లేదనుకోండి). ఆ మధ్యలో పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ని చూసి కూసింత ముచ్చటపడీపోయా! తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో విభిన్న ప్రయత్నాలకు నాంది పలుకుతాడని ఆనందపడిపోయా. ఆయన తీసిన జానీ సినిమా పెద్దగా నచ్చకపోయినప్పటికీ అతనికి సినిమా అంటే భయంకరమైన పస్సిఒన్ వుందని అనిపించింది. కానీ నాలుగు సినిమాలు ఫ్లాపయ్యేసరికి డీలాపడిపోయి మళ్ళీ రొటీన్ సినిమా భారిన పడ్డాడు. దాంతో ఆయన పై వున్న కొద్దిపాటి ఇంట్రెస్టు నశించింది.
వీళ్ళు తప్పితే మన తెలుగు సినీ పరిశ్రమలో నా అభిమనాన్ని చూరగొనే అదృష్టం వేరెవ్వరికీ కలగలేదన్నమాట.
అయితే ఏంటి ?
అయితే ఏమీ లేదు. నేను చెప్పాలనుకుందేమిటంటే తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో హీరోలంటే నాకు పెద్దగా ఇష్టం లేదు. అదీ కాక గత 6 సంవత్సరాలుగా తెలుగు సినిమా వైపునుంచి ప్రపంచ సినిమా పై దృష్టి పెట్టిన నేను ఒక్క రజనీకాంత్ సినిమా అంటే మాత్రం చెవికోసుకుంటాను. నవతరంగం , newwave , world cinema అంటూ కూతలు కూసే నేను కూడా రజనీ అంటే మాత్రం పడి చచ్చిపోతాను. గత పదిహేనేళ్ళగా ఆయన నటించిన సినిమాలన్నీ ,ఒక్క చంద్రముఖి సినిమా తప్పితే , ఒకటికి రెండుసార్లు తప్పక చూసేసాను. ఎందుకో తెలియదు గానీ రజనీ అంటే మాత్రం నాకు పిచ్చి వెర్రి.
చంద్రముఖి ఎందుకో నాకు చూడాలనిపించలేదు. ఆ సినిమాలో నాకు full dose of Rajni దొరకదేమో అని నాకు అభిప్రాయం. అది నిజమో కాదో తెలియదు. చూడకూడదనుకున్నాను. చూడలేదు. కొంపతీసి రజనీ ని కూడా నేను నచ్చడం మానేశానేమో అని అనుమానం కలిగింది. కానీ అది తప్పని ఈ మధ్యనే తేలింది. శివాజీ సినిమా షూటింగ్ మొదలయినప్పటినుంచీ ఎప్పుడెప్పుడా అని ఎదురుచూస్తున్న నాకు రేపే ఆ రోజు అనే సరికి నాలో ఉత్సాహం వెల్లువెత్తుతోంది.
ఒక విధంగా చూస్తే , మన సినిమాల పరిస్థితి పై నేను రాసే దానికీ , నేను రజనీ సినిమాకై ఎదురుచూసే దానికీ ఏమాత్రం పొంతన లేదు. కానీ ఏం చేదాం ? కొన్ని సార్లు ఇలాగే జరుగుతుందేమో జీవితంలో. నాకీ రజనీ ఫీవర్ ఎలా వచ్చిందో ఏమో తెలియదు గానీ అది ఇలానే వుండిపోతుందనుకుంటా! నరసింహ సినిమా హైదరాబాదులో రిలీజ్ అయినప్పుడూ ఒకే రోజు నాలుగు షోలు చూసేసి, హల్లో విజిళ్ళు, నానా హంగామా చేసిన నేనేనా ఇప్పుడూ మన సినిమాలనీ, మన సినీ పరిశ్రమని విమర్శించేది అని పిస్తుంది.
ఇంతకీ విషయం ఏంటంటే , మీరెవరన్నా నన్ను శివాజీ సినిమా హాల్లో చూసి గోళ చేస్తుంటే తప్పుగా అర్థం చేసుకోవద్దని మనవి. హల్లో విజిల్స్ వేస్తూ, పేపర్లూ గట్రా విసుర్తూ కనిపిస్తే “వీడు రాసేదంతా మోసం. చెప్పేదొకటి చేసేదొకటి” అని డిసైడైపోకండి. రజనీ అంటే మనకి ఈక్ నెస్ అన్న మాట. అంత మాత్రాన నేను అందరి సినిమాలకు అలా చేస్తానని అనుకోకండి. ఇది కేవలం రజనీ కోసమే చేసే హంగామా! నాకు తెలుసు అది తప్పని , కానీ జీవితంలో కొన్ని తప్పులు తెలిసే చేస్తుంటాం. ఇది కూడా అలాంటిదేనేమో!

but the climax might not appeal to hardcore Rajni fans.
also there are too may censor cuts….otherwise film is good

I think the present concept of cinema is not right in the form as well as in content. The present movies do not talk about common people or human relations, therefore irrelevant to talk about India Cinema.
We have to understand that society prepares crime also criminals. Politics, Health care, Education, Media, all art forms are in the hands of corporate. What corporate does? It simply try to survive by punishing poor people and it makes people to its consumers to buy its products. For example, look at any corporate job, it provides a job also it makes you to buy their products, we will be in the processes of working hard in order to to buy many things of it, in the sense the modern men is a consumer, which make him to see the society around him as a Trade, where human values are sold. Now we can buy children (we know that many children are exported to Arab countries), Men and women are available in the service of sexual pleasures (where all corporate/rich people participate in the name of joy, having pleasure became life principle), Soaps, Cars, Clothes, cellphone, etc all are sold by attributing human values ( we know Hamamum the soap of mother love). I have seen many ads. that are depicting a car as a child in the women womb. We know car washing in films, where actress has pleasure in car washing, almost it feel like she has sex with car. There are many around us, where human values are sold out. Don’t you feel all the so called super starts are filthy people, like so called BABAs around us by living on unhealthy sick fans in the survive of corporate. The Indian hero that who fight for values/against corporate in films also try to see her lover in naked and works to promote corporate products. I think Indian film hero is a prostitute to corporate.
